Inspired by tradition and resolutely modern, French-brand Cristel has introduced a new collection – 1826.

The world’s first stamped saucepan was created in Cristel’s factory in Fesches-le-Châtel in the Doubs département in France in 1826. Two centuries later, the brand has decided to use this historic product as the starting point for its new collection, aptly named 1826.

The pans in the 1826 collection are made of 18/10 stainless steel, are tapered, and have a heat-diffusing base suitable for all hobs (including induction). Their bodies have a brushed finish that contrasts with the polished finish of the firmly riveted ergonomic handles and grips.

Representing two centuries of know-how and innovation, 1826 is sure to inspire amateur cooks and professional chefs alike.

Standout features include ergonomic flat handles and grips, a brushed and glossy finish and, of course, it is suitable for all hobs and induction.
