Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited the Sambonet Paderno Industrie production facility in Orfengo on 11th September, during a visit to the area for the second edition of the Risò International Rice Festival in Vercelli
Accompanied by CEO Giovanni Coppo, Prime Minister Meloni toured the manufacturing facilities, showrooms and offices, seeing the production processes behind Sambonet cutlery and Paderno cookware.
The visit also highlighted the history of the brands and their connection to the wider Arcturus Group, which includes Paderno, Sambonet and Arthur Krupp, alongside its porcelain and silverware brands.
The company’s founders, Cavaliere Pierluigi Coppo and his brother Engineer Franco Coppo, also attended the special visit, together with members of their families.

Sambonet Paderno Industrie employs around 300 people at its Orfengo headquarters and exports to more than 80 countries. Around two-thirds of its sales come from the HoReCa sector, with the remainder generated through wholesale and e-commerce.
The company is part of Arcturus, a global group employing more than 1,000 people across operations in Italy, Germany, France, the US and China.
