Alessi SpA Società Benefit has announced Alberto Camerlengo as the company’s new CEO.
Born in Verona in 1965, Alberto Camerlengo brings with him extensive and significant managerial experience and has demonstrated considerable success in guiding and developing winning business strategies.
Over the past 20 years, he has held various management positions: Camerlengo joined Furla in 2011 as chief operating officer and general manager before taking on the role of chief executive officer from 2016 to 2020 and most recently member of the board of directors. His appointment followed a seven-year stint at Brooks Brothers Europe from 2004 to 2011, where he reached the role of chief executive officer. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer at Fossil Italia, holding the post from 1999 to 2004. Camerlengo strengthened his international experience in 1995 when he joined Casual Corner Group Inc., serving as controller and deputy chief financial officer at the US based clothing company. He started his career in 1991 working for Deloitte & Touche Srl. He is a graduate in Economics at the Bocconi University of Milan.

Following this appointment, the company’s board of directors is composed as follows: Alberto Alessi, president since 2009; Vicente Castellano, vice president; Stefano Alessi, managing director; Alessio Alessi, Alessandro Costamagna and Luca Rossetto, directors; and Alberto Camerlengo, chief executive officer.
