Russell Hobbs has expanded its Calm breakfast collection with the launch of the Calm Connected Kettle and Calm Toaster, combining smart technology, lighting and sound features with everyday kitchen functionality

Available now from the brand’s UK website, the new products feature frosted glass finishes and rose gold-coloured detailing, designed to bring a coordinated look to kitchen worktops.

The Calm Connected Kettle introduces Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to switch it on remotely, adjust the water temperature and control its illumination through the Russell Hobbs app. Bluetooth connectivity and built-in speakers also allow users to play music or listen to the radio while the kettle boils, while voice control is available when connected to a compatible smart speaker.

The kettle offers 12 colour options and nine illumination scenes, including Ocean, Forest, Snowflake and Fireside. It also features Quiet Boil technology to help reduce operating noise.

Joining the collection for the first time, the Calm Toaster features five built-in sounds, nine illumination scenes and a lamp mode that provides ambient lighting when the appliance is not in use. Its automatic lift-and-lower carriage is operated via touch controls.

Additional features include longer slots, a bagel setting, frozen and reheat functions, and a removable warming rack for heating pastries, rolls and buns.

The new additions extend Russell Hobbs’ Calm collection, which combines practical appliance features with sensory design elements aimed at enhancing the everyday breakfast routine.
