The June 2026 issue of Kitchenware International is out now and previews June’s Exclusively Housewares Show, which is coming up at the Business Design Centre in London and September’s Zuchex show in Turkey – a must see for global buyers, trendsetters, and manufacturers. And there’s so much more …
Summer’s on the way and here’s a taster of what’s coming up – elsewhere and, of course, in the magazine itself.
First of all, there are some particularly important news stories that are bang up to date, they include important government decision processes such as the UK’s product safety framework – ‘Product regulation: the UK’s new product safety framework’. BHETA (the British Home Enhancement Trade Association) is urging all UK housewares and small domestic electricals suppliers to engage. Then there’s the Home Office consultation on licensing for knife sales which closed in February and received over 3,000 responses. This means analysis and policy decisions are likely to take several more months.
The Sambonet cover story goes into its rebranding journey that has consolidated its key position in the table and kitchenware world – historically its core areas of expertise.
Our features go to the heart of the kitchenware sector. First, there’s Cookware. With so many now turning to cooking as a hobby and to save money, the sector is enjoying a period of significant growth – especially for manufacturers and retailers. Good news all round. The second is about tea and coffee (cool or hot, they hit the spot) staying ahead of trends and delivering exactly what discerning consumers want is always key.
Finally for now, our company focuses take in the latest from Porland Porselen, and its increasingly popular Cookland range; plus Amefa’s Richardson Sheffield, where the new line, the Refinest kitchen gadget collection is a must buy (and read).
Enjoy the read and the summer ahead.
