Water filtration brand Aqua Optima, part of Strix Group plc, has expanded its successful range of instant water appliances with the introduction of Aurora Coffee.
Offering barista quality coffee in the home, the Aurora Coffee is a 3-in-1 filtered water and hot drinks solution that combines the functionality of a kettle, coffee machine, and water filter jug in one space-saving and stylish appliance to deliver Gold Cup Specialty Coffee Association-certified coffee.
Aurora Coffee puts the user firmly in control, allowing them to filter, boil, and dispense as much water as desired for hot drinks, with minimum waste. Whether they want 200ml of boiling water for a single cup of tea or a 1.25litre carafe of freshly brewed coffee, Aurora can deliver it at the touch of a button, via its easy-to-use digital interface.
Powered by Strix technology, the Aurora Coffee allows the user to enjoy fresh, hot drinks in under a minute, made to their exact preference. Offering the ultimate in controllability, the Aurora Coffee comes with seven temperature options ranging from ambient to boiling, and seven on-demand volumes of hot water from 200ml to 1,000ml – removing the need for unnecessary waste or energy consumption.
The dishwasher-safe glass carafe, complete with an integrated filter basket, is kept at perfect drinking temperature for up to 30 minutes after brewing on the integrated warming plate.
The built-in Evolve+ filter provides water that meets the Specialty Coffee Association’s standards for hardness, odour, colour, alkalinity, and acidity. The water dispensed is colour and odour-free, as well as PH balanced to deliver freshly brewed coffee with fewer impurities for a great-tasting drink.
