The new adamant comfort pan from premium cookware manufacturer Fissler secures iF Design Award 2019
The latest product range from German brand Fissler, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality cookware, has secured the prestigious iF Design Award 2019, awarded annually by the iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover, the world’s oldest independent design institution.
Winning the Product Category, the adamant comfort pan was chosen by a global jury of 67 experts, impressed by the pan’s innovative strength, design and functionality.
Theaward-winning pan is part of the adamant series released by Fissler late last year. The adamant comfort and adamant classic models, both Made in Germany, solve an apparent contradiction in the world of cookware: they combine a very good non-stick effect with enormous durability that would normally only be expected from non-coated pans.
The key to their extreme toughness is the new ADAMANT sealing. Containing silicon carbide particles, whose hardness is comparable to that of stone, this gives the pans their novel surface, with a tangible texture and a raw look that is reminiscent of cast-iron pans.
Thanks to this quality, kitchen utensils made of any material, including metal, can be used during frying, without worrying about scratching the surface.
Thanks to its high body, the adamant comfort pan also holds more food. Equipped with the cookstar® all-stove base, it is suitable for all types of stoves, including induction stoves. The outstanding heat release of the sealing makes it perfect for both gentle and fast frying, while the integrated measuring scale allows users to comfortably measure liquids. In addition, its tried and tested safety handle protects the user’s hands from heat and slipping.
The iF Design Award once again proves Fissler’s innovative strength and instinct for consumer needs. In recent years, pans from the SensoRed® series secured the Red Dot Award, the German Design Award and the German Innovation Award for its user-friendly, thermo-sensitive non-stick sealing.
